The pure predictor
Classic
Classic is Declare It at its simplest: the host picks a set of fixtures, sets the scoring, and everyone calls the scorelines. Highest total wins — perfect for a one-off matchday or a season-long run.
How you score
Each fixture scores like this (the host can tweak the values):
| Outcome | Points |
|---|---|
| Exact scoreline | +5 |
| Right result, wrong score | +2 |
| Wrong result | 0 |
| Wrong result & badly off | −1 |
Wildcards (optional)
The host can let each player nominate a few picks as wildcards — those fixtures score double, for better or worse. Pick your bankers… or your boldest calls.
Accuracy option
Any Classic game can be flipped to accuracy: instead of most points, the winner is whoever's closest across the board (smallest total goal error). Wildcards don't apply in accuracy games.
Wager & forfeit
Add an optional fake-money pot (no real money — bragging rights only) and a forfeit for the loser just for fun.
