How to play
From sign-up to predicting in a couple of minutes.
1. Create your account
Sign up with your email, a display name and a password. Your display name and avatar are what other players see — set a colour, favourite team and a few tags on your profile whenever you like.
2. Pick a mode & start a game
Head to Play and choose how you want to play:
- Classic — pick your own fixtures, set the scoring, highest points wins.
- Power Play — Classic plus a loadout of power-ups (double down, shields, sabotage a rival).
- League — predict a whole competition round by round and climb the season table.
- Power League — a league with an economy: earn matchday dollars and spend them on items and equipment.
Either build a game (pick the competition and fixtures from the live schedule) or join a friend's with their six-character code. Any game can be won on pointsor flipped to pure accuracy — closest scorelines take it.
3. Make your predictions
For every fixture, set the scoreline you think it'll finish. New picks start at 0–0, so you only change what you need to. Hit Lock in predictions to save — you can edit any pick up to two hours before the first kickoff, after which the whole game locks and everyone's picks reveal at once, so you can all see what everyone called.
4. Scoring, wagers & forfeits
Each fixture scores like this (the host can tweak the values per game):
- +5 — exact scoreline (you said 2–1, it finished 2–1).
- +2 — right result, wrong score (you said 2–0, it finished 3–1 — still a home win).
- 0 — wrong result.
- −1 — wrong result and badly off: your goal difference is more than 3 out (the margin, not the totals — 1–1 vs 9–8 is only 1 out, but 3–0 vs 0–2 is 5 out).
The exact-score and right-result bonuses always take priority over the penalty. Hosts can also add an optional fake-money wager (no real money — bragging rights only) and a forfeit for the loserjust for fun. In accuracy games the winner is whoever's closest across the board, not who banks the most points.
5. Power-ups (Power Play & Power League)
In Power Play, each player gets a loadout to spend on their picks — double or triple a score, shield a risky call, or go for a bullseye. Power League goes further: you earn matchday dollars from your predictions and spend them on equipment, defences and sabotage to swing the table your way. (Classic stays clean if that's your thing — wildcards optional.)
6. Watch it unfold
Scores update live as matches play out (refreshed roughly every couple of minutes), points show against each fixture, and the table is a live running total. Tap any player to see their locked picks, or their avatar for their profile, stats, badges and your head-to-head record.
In the game room
Four tabs run every game — here's what each does:
| Fixture | Your call |
|---|---|
| ENG v FRA | 2–1 |
| BRA v ARG | 1–1 |
| GER v ESP | 0–0 |
Set a scoreline for every fixture. New picks start 0–0, so you only change what you need to. Edit until 2 hours before the first kickoff — then the whole game locks and everyone's picks reveal.
