Declare It is a free score-prediction game. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what the game needs to work, we don't sell anything, and there's no advertising tracking on the site.

What we collect

• Account — your email address and a password (or your Google account, if you choose Google sign-in; we receive your email and name from Google, nothing else).
• Profile — the display name you choose, your club, avatar colour, and any bio or tags you add. Your display name and club are visible to other players; your email never is.
• Gameplay — your predictions, wildcards, results and standings, plus which games and leagues you're in.
• Messages — anything you post in a game's chat, visible to that game's members.
• Technical basics — the essential cookies that keep you signed in. We don't run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

What we use it for

• Running the game: scoring your predictions, building the tables, showing your profile to other players.
• Emails that are part of the game: sign-in and account emails, deadline reminders, and rival alerts. Reminders and alerts can be switched off in your profile.
• Keeping the service safe: preventing abuse and multiple-account cheating.

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Who processes it

Declare It runs on a small number of service providers who store or move data on our behalf: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Resend (sending email), and Google (only if you use Google sign-in). Match fixtures and results come from third-party sports data feeds; nothing about you is sent to them.

Your choices

• Opt out of the global tables in your profile and your picks stay inside your own games.
• Switch off reminder and rival-alert emails in the same place.
• Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it, by emailing support@declareit.io. Deletion is permanent.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account, because your predictions and standings are the game. Delete your account and the lot goes with it.

Age

Declare It is intended for players aged 13 and over. Game chat is intended for players 18 and over, and hosts can switch it off for their game.
