Power Play
Power Play is Classic with a loadout of power-ups. You still predict scorelines and score the same way, but each player gets a budget to spend on boosts that swing the points. The host sets how many you get, and you must use your full budget before locking in.
How you score
| Outcome | Points |
|---|---|
| Exact scoreline | +5 |
| Right result, wrong score | +2 |
| Wrong result | 0 |
| Wrong result & badly off | −1 |
Power-ups
The host chooses which of these are in play:
| Power-up | Effect |
|---|---|
| Double | 2× points (good or bad) |
| Triple | 3× points (good or bad) |
| All-In | 4× points if you score, −3 if you don't |
| Shield | Can't score below 0, which kills the badly-off penalty |
| Safety Net | Never scores below 1, a banker's comfort |
| Bullseye | Big points for an exact score, else 0 |
| Deadeye | Exact score pays 3× the jackpot; anything else −1 |
Same tables as Classic
A Power Play game ranks on most points by default, and a slate spanning two or more matchdays can flip to Head-to-Head, with one opponent per round. Power-ups count inside each round's score, so a well-timed triple can steal a tie.
